What’s not to love? It was sweet and different. While Nathan pulls out all the stops to win his B-girl, Brooke has to choose.

There is one significant issue. Jun 03, Mell rated it did not like it Shelves: Animate Me is a truly unique romance. I loved the geeky animator guy who draws a comic book series about his crush. Animate Me follows the unconventional relationship of Nathan and Brooke who meet accidentally outside the ruyh place.

Would she be freaked aniate that he had a crush on her, way before they met? The title Animate Me sounded interesting so I read it. But, Nathan isn’t going to let that stop him from getting his dream girl. But my future mother-in-law, Marie, will pass out when she sets eyes on that rock, which will give us two minutes of blessed silence.

Coyote’s head, there are problems along the way. Heard such good things!! Here’s to Animate Me and Ruth Clampett for bringing us such a good story! Again, true, it may be cheesy.

I learned so much about the animation world through reading Animate Me. The Autumn Review June 21, at 1: Amazon BN iBooks Kobo. B girl is actually based on Brooke Tobin, a woman who is not quite clamlett in her own skin, an executive at Sketch Republic whom Nathan worships from afar. Even the secondary characters add a lot of flavor to the story.

Shannon wouldn’t care if Rugh slid a giant hard-candy ring on her finger instead of a three-carat diamond designed to impress. Will Arnauld succeed in taking everything that means something to Nathan away? She’s captured his heart and in his eyes she is the girl of his dreams.

Never Enough Shelf Space: Quickie Review: Animate Me by Ruth Clampett

Vi Nguyen June 22, at 8: The author of this book ought to try reading something like Geekomancy if she wants to learn how to write an interesting book about geeks that doesn’t involve them mooning over each other or having graphic sex all the time.

Brooke has an open relationship with Arnauld, the head of the animation studio.

Brooke isn’t overly experienced but she grew up in a household where sexuality was openly expressed. What a quirky and sweet read! So fun, sexy, and opened my eyes clajpett to the world of animation in an entertaining and enjoyable way. It was one of my favorite aspects of the story, getting to see his ruty side come out and the book also contains some animation sketches that go along with the story which just brought it that much more to life.
